Fields of Work - International Organisations and National Governments

TCC broadened its scope next to its transatlantic activities in Washington DC and received special consultative status and accreditation to international organizations as the United Nations (UN) in New York and its subsidiary bodies as the Human Rights Council in Geneva (OHCHR), the European Parliament (EP) in Brussels and the European Union Fundamental Rights Agency (EU-FRA) in Vienna and Organization of Security and Cooperation (OSCE) with focus on the Human Dimension Implementation Meetings (ODIHR-HDIM) in Warsaw, while also working with the African Union (AU) and member states. Now working on a worldwide scale asks for adjustment of the name from Transatlantic Christian Council toward Christian Council International. Areas to work on with extra focus became the protection of Life, Family and Freedom (of religion and education)

United Nations

Our presence at UNHQ in New York, where we hold ECOSOC consultative status since 2016, allows our reach to extend around the globe. Because of its widespread influence, the UN is at the center of the global conversation on life and family. Our accreditation allows us to engage with oral and written statements and all kinds of other lobbying instruments.

UN Human Rights Council

With our ECOSOC consultative status, CCI has a voice at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva. This inter-governmental body is made up of 47 rotating UN member States and responsible for the promotion and protection of all human rights around the globe.

European Union

We hold accreditation with the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg and participate at the EU's Fundamental Rights Platform in Vienna in order to have a voice in its increasing involvement with social policy and human rights activity. The EU has 27 Member States, whose sovereignty is increasingly pressured by the EU.

Organization of Security and Cooperation (OSCE)

CCI engages with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Vienna and Warsaw, with focus on democratic institutions and human rights. It is the world’s largest security-oriented intergovernmental organization and advisory body with 57 participating States.

African Union

With our team in Addis Ababa we are present at the African Union governing body, helping to defend policies on life, family and freedom (of religion and education), and helping protect them against efforts of liberal, ideological, neocolonial influence of the EU and the US government and international organizations on these African public policies.
US Congress

US Congress

CCI has entrances in the US Congress and tries to exert its influence there by speaking to politicians and getting them to make choices that are in line with our principles in the areas of life, family and freedom.
