United Nations Fellowship New York 2024

United Nations Fellowship

Mission of the United Nations Fellowship: To provide a first-hand experience to students about the work of the United Nations from a broad Christian perspective at the 68th Commission on the Status of Women.

Chrisitan Council International recognizes that the UN broadly supports many ideals that are inconsistent with Christian beliefs. Lobbying at the UN is for the purpose of providing a Christian perspective on negotiations that deal with matters of life, family and freedom.

The theme for this CSW 2024 is as follows:

Priority theme: Accelerating the achievement of gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls by addressing poverty and strengthening institutions and financing with a gender perspective.

Review theme: Social protection systems, access to public services and sustainable infrastructure for gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls (agreed conclusions of the sixty-third session)

  1. Interested in learning about the conservative lobbying at the United Nations
  2. Able and willing to interact with a large amount of people over the course of a week
