The statement delivered by Sylvia Mesesi of Christian Council International at the United Nations Webinar of Informal consultations on the Pact of the Future held on 31st July 2024. The statement emphasizes the need to respect traditional families, uphold the sanctity of life, ensure religious freedom and use of consensual language in the Summit for the Future Pact. The message calls for these principles to be explicitly included in the Pact in order to create an effective Pact.
