From January 18 until February 2, 2024, CCI had the opportunity to present itself at various locations in North America: Sunnyside WA, Chilliwack BC, Monarch AB and Hillsdale MI. The message of Life, Family and Freedom (of religion and education) was well received. The first week of this fruitful journey, Henk Jan van Schothorst was accompanied by Riekelt Pasterkamp.

On a positive note, there was a good resolution on the family, and this passed without a vote and only 4 countries objecting. There is a group of countries called Friends of the Family, a total of 25 members. Pray that more will join this group and that more countries will speak up for life and the family.

Räsänen: "The Helsinki Court of Appeal has just ruled that all the charges against me have been dismissed. I am relieved, happy and grateful to God and to all those who have supported me through this stage of my life. The decision was in line with my expectations – I never doubted for a moment that I committed any offence in my writings and statements."

In Africa this quarter, the focus was on the First ACPF Regional Family Conference (May 11-12) in Nairobi, Kenya, and the ACP-EU Inter-Parliamentary Assembly in Brussels (June 19 - 28).

This year the Resolution was on population, education and sustainable development.
There was no doubt some good ideas discussed, but the big issue was CSE.

CCI’s impact on the African continent has rapidly increased. Due to CCI’s strategic campaigning on the EU-ACP Treaty in 2022, awareness about the dangerous provisions has planted seeds in the minds of many high-level decision makers across Africa.
