A presentation was scheduled to be given on January 18 in Sunnyside. However, due to heavy snowfall, this was postponed a day. Despite this, there was good attention for CCI's work. The visit and presentation in Sunnyside was very much appreciated. One of the visitors: "We are happy to see that there is someone at the table presenting the Christian view point. We are living in troubled times with many false and demonic philosophies especially among the elites of the world."

On January 23, a fundrasing dinner was held, well organized by Gerrit Rozendaal, CCI representative Canada. The evening in Chilliwack was well attended with more than 100 people. Before the CCI presentation there was a dinner. One of the visitors afterwards: "It was a good evening. Henk Jan is a hero and his organization inspires many people for a good cause."

In preparation to the United Nations Fellowship, Henk Jan van Schothorst held a talk at Hillsdale College on February the 1st. Mission of the United Nations Fellowship: To provide a first-hand experience to students about the work of the United Nations from a broad Christian perspective at the 68th Commission on the Status of Women.
